NDIS Funded

We have a team of experienced counsellors who can provide counselling services to clients under the NDIS as part of the Capacity Building - Improved Living category.

This service as indicated by the NDIS is for the “provision to a participant of a support to facilitate self-knowledge, emotional acceptance and growth, and the optimal development of personal resources, to help the participant work towards their personal goals and gain greater insight into their lives”.

Kate

My name is Kate, and as part of the EaseAssist counselling team, I provide support to help you achieve balance, direction, and personal empowerment to enhance your life. I work with all genders and age groups, and I also provide relationship and family counselling.

My approach to counselling centres around a deep understanding of your values, needs, and the future you would like to achieve. I continuously adjust the guidance I provide to ensure your comfort with our work together, so that sessions become a serene, fulfilling experience.

I am the proud parent of 2 adults, neurodivergent NDIS participants, I have previously worked in NDIS administration, and now as a qualified, registered counsellor I support various clients, including NDIS participants with a variety of needs.

These experiences have given me a strong appreciation for understanding each individual’s perspective, and for the value of simply holding space for another person with compassion. This enables me to offer effective and empathetic support to NDIS participants, as well as understanding and support for their carers and families.

Cheryl

Hello, my name is Cheryl.

I provide a safe space, that supports Women and Teenagers to openly share the unique challenges and pressures they face.

I listen, help you unpack your concerns and identify your preferred future, explore your options, and support your autonomy and decision-making, so you can confidently step forward with your chosen plan of action to support your goals.

My counselling sessions are tailored to meet the individual needs and circumstances of each person, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

My counselling space is based in Port Adelaide, SA. I am available Monday to Thursday to provide support.
